True Friend

1. They are genuinely happy when you happy. Being happy for your friend's happy means we respect their choice. Kalaupun pilihannya ternyata salah, a true friend will be the one who lend them a shoulder to cry, keep supporting them, and not the one saying 'I told you so'.
2. They are there on your special days. True friends nggak harus hangout bareng kemana-mana, but they will always there on your special, important days.
3. They will still be your friends even if you're not popular, not rich, not pretty, or whatever. Itu bukan alasan utama untuk berteman, kan.
4. They say thing straight to your face, and not behind your back. Even if they mad at you, they'll tell it to you. Dia juga gak selamanya setuju dengan keputusan kita. Simple, karena mereka ingin yang terbaik buat kita. Klise, but that's the real friend.
5. They make effort. Like any other relationship, it requires effort dari kedua belah pihak. A real friend will do a little extra for it. Dia bakal jadi orang yang merencanakan surprise di ulang tahunmu dan gak segan-segan membantumu saat kamu lagi susah.
6. They know you so well. When you got a smile on your face and a twinkle in your eye, only a true friends know you're about to break down and cry. Waktu kita sedih, dia tau gimana bikin kita kembali senang dan siap jadi our number one partner.
7. You know you can text them anytime. Entah itu cuma gara-gara gak bisa tidur, lagi kena macet, atau lagi sendirian di mall, kamu gak perlu mikir dua kali untuk hubungin dia. Kalian selalu punya bahan untuk diomongin dan dia selalu siap denger curhat kita.

The only way to have a true friend is to be one. Have we been one? And do we have one?
